01
Mowing
Service No. 01

Cut at the
right height.

Pacific NW lawns are usually a fescue/ryegrass blend, and they like to be tall — 3 to 3.5 inches in summer, slightly shorter in spring. We sharpen blades regularly so the grass gets cut, not torn. Clippings stay if they help, get bagged when they don't.

Weekly + bi-weekly schedules
Sharp-blade clean cuts
Direction rotated visit-to-visit
Mulch or bag, your call
String-trimmed at every edge
Cleanup of walks & drive
02
Pruning
Service No. 02

Pruned in season,
shaped to last.

Most hedge and shrub damage I see comes from blind cuts at the wrong time of year. Different plants prune differently — laurel, boxwood, rhody, hydrangea, butterfly bush each have their own window. We respect that.

03
Mulch installation
Service No. 03

Mulch that
holds water.

Pacific NW summers run dry — without a real mulch layer, beds bake. We install 2–3 inches of properly graded mulch after edging beds and pulling weeds. Choose your material; we'll deliver, spread, and clean up.

Lawn reseed
Service No. 04

A new lawn,
without tearing it out.

Most lawn problems get fixed with overseeding, not replacement. Late September through mid-October is the sweet spot in the Willamette Valley — soil is still warm, fall rains start cooperating, weeds back off. Spring patch-seeding works for small repairs.

Planting
Service No. 05

Right plant,
right place.

Bed design and plant installation tuned for Pacific NW soil and sun. Native species thrive with no irrigation once established — sword fern, salal, Oregon grape, vine maple, manzanita. We'll lay out the bed, source the plants, dig the holes, and water in.

Tree pruning
Service No. 06

Trees pruned —
not topped.

Most "tree problems" we see are pruning problems waiting to happen. Late winter dormant pruning is when the cuts heal cleanest on most deciduous trees. Storm prep — deadwood removal, weak-fork reduction, clearance from rooflines — saves a roof later in the season.
